James Hong is a veteran American actor and voice actor as well as the former president of the Association of Asian/Pacific American Artists. A prolific acting veteran, James's career spans over 50 years which includes more than 350 roles in film, television, and video games. He is also known for his Annie-Award winning role as Po's father, Mr. Ping in the Kung Fu Panda films.
He voiced Chi-Fu in the 1998 Disney animated film, Mulan, and Mandarin in the American/Japanese anime series, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. He also played Ming Lo in No Deposit, No Return. He also voiced the villain Bucky in the third season for Heart of Archness: Part II and Heart of Archness: Part III. James appears as Chinse mobster Wan Chu in the Season 2 episode of the NBC-TV series The A-Team titled "The Maltese Cow" and as Byron Fong / General Chow in the episode titled "Mind Games".
